No more than 1500 inhabitants, limited access to internet and surrounded by mountains, Dasa` is my final stop after 5 months and 1 week of travelling and living abroad. It is spent meeting up with family and learning more about my origins. Endless discussions at the dinner table after a hearty meal of italian home cooking, exploring the narrow paths through the town and chasing the sunset on a nearby mountain, it has always been the small things and the lesser known places that have impressed the most.

The capital of Italy evokes the power of the former Roman Empire with its medieval architecture, ancient ruins and supreme status as one of Europe's elite. Rome is a big city and offers an even bigger choice of public transport, but i choose to walk. Roaming deeper into the city, moving further away from reality and stepping into ancient times.
